Well im gonna be calling EVERYONE now IV got a full year no claims back as i need to get a realistic price rather than the £1500 I'm paying at the mo and all because I was hit and they drove off meaning I had to claim off my own cover. If i ever find the [HDC] that did it I'll re model their face free of charge for them lol

I was told about Adrian Flux when I got my D2 by my shooting buddy as he insures through them. Coming out of a group 16 Mercedes and onto a group 13 D2 I almost fell on the floor when I was quoted a price at Adrian flux. I was expecting it to be cheaper than the Merc but ended up being nearly twice the cost. I have full no claims and years without a claim!
It was much cheaper simply changing my existing insurance over to a new car.
It's up for renewal in a couple of months I think and I'll try again with Adrian Flux before shopping around to see what i get quoted.

Is it cheeky to ask what I should expect to pay being a young  46 year old, with the wife as a named driver who has her own car?

Just changed over to AF - all mods declared, valued at £5.5k, commuting, greenlaning, 4x4response, offroad cover included for £450  Most of the other insurers wouldn't even quote due to the number of mods, so nice one AF
