I have a stock of great quality side awnings with zip in tents plus removable heavy duty floor panels.

The kits are sand/khaki coloured with adjustable aluminium poles and heavy duty guy ropes that all tuck away nicely into the truck mounted 'bag'. The tent and floor panel fold away into their own storage bag.

The awning can be used on its own as a shelter from sun or rain and is made from durable ripstop canvas.

All tent openings have fixed fly screens apart from the door between the tent and truck (see photos).

The fixing kit includes L shaped brackets, bolts and tent pegs, plus a spanner if needed.

Chunky zips and fittings all round so durable except for the highest winds. Two year manufacturers warranty.

Fast to deploy and decamp they make a great overland or camping solution, one member has already bought three kits so he has a field kitchen on one truck and two sleeping tents on his other truck!

For club members I am discounting the normal price from £340 down to £250 relay or collection from PE12 area (we can meet otherwise somewhere mutually convenient).

I had the prototype on display at Peterborough but these are superior quality and benefit from the floor section included in the price.

A brilliant solution for planned or spontaneous camp outs.

Hi Gareth, looks like a great bit of kit. Is there anyway this can be installed without a roof rack?

Hi guys, thanks for the questions - the demonstrator I saw was a normal MPV with roofrails, they used the supplied L shaped brackets and some additional U clamps to fix it in place. The bolt spacings are designed to align with the channels in the back of the awning rail, the optimum height for mounting is quoted as 1.9 metres but you can allow a bit more as the floor panel adds extra when fitted.

I guess the standard roofrails (and if possible the extensions too) would be an ideal mounting, after all they are designed to take cross bars and bear a load.

The solution Roverman has come up with looks very tidy and a quality install, its just a case of how far you want to go with the engineering, but the fitting kit is there to get you started.

Since these pics I've installed a full rack but fixed the awning to the supports.

If you ever get some greenish ones. Il definitely be having one. The sandy colour won't match everything else

Hi, are you going to be at Malvern LR show either with or without a stand ? I'm tempted and easy collection could swing it. Thanks
