Good work DAVID & prompted me to give them a go.

Spoke with Lancaster yesterday after going on line & being quoted over 500  after speaking to a human that changed to just under 300, then when I advised that was not competitive they went off to speak to an underwriter phoned me back & offered me a cracking deal at £185, with agreed value.

Was going to change only for Flux to ring me mid morningto see if I had recieved my renewal, :crazy1: which was some £80 more......funny isn't it that after telling them they where too expensive & then holding whilst apparently they spoke to an underwriter they matched the Lancaster offer [119.gif] .....anyway couldn't be arsed to change so I stuck with Flux but goes to show its worth shopping around & not accepting first price.

Nice one, fell out of love with Adrian Flux when they wanted 220% more than others for my second car. Very unhelpful too on the phone. Come renewal time I'll definitely be calling them for a quote. Just hope they'll insure my imported lhd Disco, that's always a bit of a challenge.

I tried to get a quote, after 3/4 hr of finding the information they wanted & filling in their on-line form, I got :
Quote:
Unable To Quote
Sorry, we were unable to provide a quote for the specified details. Some of our specialist policies aren't available online but we may be able to offer a quote over the phone. Please call 01480 220003

I'm in Portugal at the moment & won't be back until after my renewal is due, so phoning them is not an option. [119.gif]
I'll stick with Flux, who , believe it or not, are 50p cheaper than last year.
